Hi Gus,
Have you used the 'LSI' button in DupeFree Pro yet?
This little button can help take your rankings to the next level
and beyond... IF you know how to use it right.
--------------------------------------------------
What is LSI?
--------------------------------------------------
The traditional keyword density percentage well known throughout
the SEO community is far less effective than it used to be.
The search engine algorithms are getting a lot smarter.
If your content is optimised in a basic fashion written around
single keyword phrases there is a high chance your content will
struggle to rank well these days.
This is due to a new Search Engine algorithm technology called
'LSI' or 'Latent Semantic Indexing'. Essentially, what this new
algorithm does is it looks at your webpage & your whole website
structure from a relevance and thematic stand point.
No longer is optimising for one or two keyword words sufficient.
You need to be using multiple "Search Engine determined" synonyms
throughout your articles and websites.
The current authority on LSI in the Internet Marketing community is
Charles Heflin from SEO2020. Charles is author of 'The Master Plan'
- an advanced SEO guide covering LSI and silo strategies. He has
been talking about LSI way before it became wide spread knowledge.
We've read his excellent guide 'The Master Plan' and consider him
to be at the forefront of advanced SEO strategies.
I highly recommend reading 'The Master Plan' if you want to learn
how to take full advantage of LSI SEO strategies. (An absolute must
if you want to stay afloat in future.)

How DupeFree Pro Can Help You With LSI
--------------------------------------------------
The old keyword density method is based on the idea that the Search
Engines look at the number of times a word or phrase ("golf shoes"
for example) appears on a webpage in order to deem it relevant to
that term and "rank" the page for it.
This is how the Search Engines *used* to work. They do things quite
differently now...
If you want to rank for a particular phrase (i.e. "golf shoes") you
need to include terms that are "semantic" (mean the same as) with
that phrase. However, this is not a simple as just looking up a
thesaurus and throwing in all the words found there. Search results
work differently because they are geared towards human trends.
Luckily Google provides a way to find the terms they consider
semantic...
You can perform a "semantic" search at Google using the "~" (tilde)
function by typing "~phrase" (without the quotes). Throughout the
search results simply look for all the BOLD terms and collect them
together. These are the terms that Google considers to be semantic
to your phrase and should be present on the page you are going to
create. You have to perform a separate tilde "~" search for each
word in your keyword phrase.
Here is an example for the phrase "golf shoes"...
Below are the BOLD terms from tilde search results for both "golf"
and "shoes"...
~Golf
------
Golf
Country
Sports
club
Golf's
golfer
Country Club
golfer's
golfing
~Shoes
------
shoes
boots
Store
Footwear
Shoe Store
shoe
sneakers
feet
Shoes shoes
Occasionally you may notice the search engines throw up some
strange terms, but usually in one way or another they are related
to your term. Perhaps not for your specific topic however (i.e. try
a "~apple" search), so you must also use your own judgment as to
which BOLD terms to include in your article.
The main point to note is that these terms are "Search Engine
determined" synonyms NOT thesaurus determined. This is key.
What the Search Engines are looking for is "expert verbiage" and
terms related to your topic throughout your content, not just one
keyword phrase stuffed everywhere with no real relevance to the
rest of the content on the webpage or website.
As you can imagine, performing this process for all your articles
and keywords is yet another time consuming laborious process. This
is where that little 'LSI' button in DupeFree Pro comes in.
The 'LSI' button automates the collection of the LSI terms from
Google for your target keyword phrase. It also analyzes your
article for the density percentage of each LSI term found and
highlights them for you.
The steps for using the LSI button in DupeFree Pro are:
1) Import or copy and paste an article in to a DFP window.
2) Enter your target keyword phrase in to the keyword box and then
click the 'LSI' button.
3) DFP then goes to Google and performs a separate tilde (~) search
on each of the words in your target keyword phrase.
4) DFP collects all of the bolded terms from the top 100 Google
search results and displays them back to you in a convenient list
which you can also copy to the system clipboard for external use
(such as sending the keyword list to a writer).
5) Any of the LSI keywords found in the article are highlighted in
different colours and also have their separate density percentages
output next to them in the list.
The potential power and amount of time this one little button can
save you is phenomenal.
I sincerely hope you invest the time to fully understand LSI
strategies and let DFP help automate a large part of the process
for you.
