Two big changes occurred practically overnight! One very nice security change to EarnEasyCash is the addition of SSL or Secure Sockets Layer. What this means for EarnEasyCash users is that all information passed between the user and server is now encrypted. This prevents packet sniffing and other malicious attacks on EarnEasyCash users as well as increases overall site security. In order to access the secure connection to EarnEasyCash, simply use https:// instead of http://. Please note that not all objects are encrypted, such as the BeenPaid Seal, the top 468 Ad banner, and the right hand side Featured Banner because they come from sources outside of EarnEasyCash. The SSL only affects images, script, and elements from EarnEasyCash and there is no functional difference between a normal http connection and https secure connection.

What SSL does for EarnEasyCash users : Prevents 3rd stealing your information, such as passwords, through exploits in your internet connection.
The second big change is the unique addition of the TEToolbox Safe Site Scanner to EarnEasyCash PTC Surf Ads, the first ever installation of TEToolbox to a GPT website. Tim Linden personally added the final touches to make the addition work with EarnEasyCash and it works very well. At this time, all new PTC Surf Ads must be Verified in order to be active although you may still add credits and retract credits to unverified PTC Surf Ads. To verify a site simply click the 'Verify' link located next to your new PTC Surf Ad in the Manage Ads section where you create and monitor your PTC Surf Ads. At the top, you will see the TEToolbox Scanner, it will either say your site passed or failed. If your website failed, hover your mouse over the Scanner to view the reason. Because this is the first time the TEToolbox Scanner has been added to a GPT site, there may be some small problems, please report them by filling out a Support Ticket.
What does Site Scanner do for Advertisers : Creates a more trusted surfing environment by ensuring each advertisement follows the Terms of Service and does not negatively impact user experience.
What does Site Scanner do for EarnEasyCash users : Catches harmful and other bad PTC Surf Ads BEFORE they can disrupt your surfing experience. Currently, we use the 247trafficpro.com list of Banned Websites.
