IN THE NEWS - 'Toga sheriff's deputy charged w/criminal sex act August 12, 2009 at 11:55 pm
My bf works for the Saratoga sherrif's department so when he told me about this and I found an article on it, I had to share. "SARATOGA SPRINGS -- A Saratoga County Sheriff's deputy has been arrested, accused of forcing a woman to perform a sexual act while on duty Tuesday night. The deputy, 28-year-old Donald Harder III, is being charged with committing a criminal sexual act...." Story here.
How Many...? August 12, 2009 at 11:48 pm
How many calories are you going to burn today? Or how many did you burn? :carrot:
Off topic: What products do you use? August 12, 2009 at 11:44 pm
I'm definitely up for trying new products as my looks change. I was just wondering what products some of you like and which ones you don't. I used to buy Clinique moisturizer but I found generic Oil of Olay does just as good. I love Bare Minerals makeup since it's so lightweight. Mary Kay has a variety of shades, but the eye shadow only lasts an hour on me. Anyone else have any particular likes or dislikes? Fiftieslady, I have a feeling you've got quite a stash of department store freebies somewhere. I think you're very femme in real life. MSIM, I picture you as a more natural woman with only a touch of foundation. Supradave?
Am I exercising too much? August 12, 2009 at 11:31 pm
So this is possibly a stupid question, but I'm wondering if I'm exercising too much. I work out 5-6 times a week for roughly one hour each day (incorporating cardio like treadmill, water aerobics, spinning, etc. and resistance training using machines and body sculpting classes). It's not that I feel that I am doing more than my body can handle. I was a fairly active person before I started going to the gym and I don't have any health issues. I am typically by far the fattest person in the classes but I don't think that means they're only for thin fit people. My concern is if I'm doing this much now, does that mean as I weigh less and less, I will have to do more and more exercise, both time-wise and intensity level, to lose and ultimately maintain? Should I ease back a bit now and gradually increase time/intensity? Or am I OK doing what I'm doing? I hope this makes sense!
know anything about hardwood floors? August 12, 2009 at 10:36 pm
We have 3 rooms in our house that have hardwood - old with no real finish (or worn off), scratched, but generally in good shape - no major staining or gouging. It's a little less than 600 square feet total. We considered doing the sanding and polying ourselves but are now considering getting it done professionally. I plan to make some calls tomorrow, but does anyone have a clue what kind of cost we might be talking here (estimated)? I don't want to lie awake half the night thinking about it, which is my unfortunate tendency when something is on my mind. Thanks!!
I don't remember feeling like this the last time I counted calories. Input needed... August 12, 2009 at 10:27 pm
It's day 3 back on track for me. About lunch time I got this headache and it hasn't gone away since despite taking ibuprofen and Excedrin migraine, which normally works to get rid of my bad headaches. I'm irritated and moody. I'm tired. I'm craving something to eat even though I have already eaten. I even feel bloated. Actually I feel much like TOM is getting ready to visit, but that's not due for sometime now. What's the deal? Is this normal to feel this way or what? Like I said I don't remember feeling this way in the past.

haven't met my goal yet.... but August 12, 2009 at 10:15 pm
I have lost 16 pounds in my first month of weight loss. I'm weighing in at 194 and I started at 210. I'll reach my first mini-goal when I get under 190, so 189 haha. I'll update again then!
About me August 12, 2009 at 10:04 pm
I live in Houston, Tx. I'm 20 years old and I work for the Houston Better Business Bureau and am also a full time student. I really have very little free time, but I am making the most of my life. I started my life changing, weight loss adventure about a month ago. I weighted in at 210 and now weigh in at 194. My original "mini-goal" was under 200, but that came easily, so I think I'll make it when I get under 190. These 4 pounds are being very stubborn.. I joined this forum because a friend of mine is on here and we are embarking on this part of our lives at the same time. I hope it helps.
Motivation tips needed August 12, 2009 at 9:50 pm
How do you stick with an exercise program when you have so many other things going on in your life. I was doing so well and then it all came to a screeching halt and I cannot seem to find the motivation to get back into it. I had lost 28 pounds and was well on my way and then I totally stopped everything. Does anyone have any tips or anything to get back into it once you have stopped? I need to lose weight and I am miserable at my current weight, my cholesterol is high but all I can seem to do is eat junk to try and counteract my feelings of guilt for not going to the gym. I know you have to find the motivation within and I have to want to lose weight and get in shape but it is hard when you have been inactive for so long. HELP!!!!
Here we go again! August 12, 2009 at 8:46 pm
Hi everybody! I'm 21, 5'8" and weigh a little bit more than I'd like to. Last summer I lost 20 pounds healthily, but then gained it all back again over the winter. I did WW for a while, but I got really OCD and obsessive, and I didn't think it was healthy for me to keep going. I've kept a lot of the good eating habits from that though, like vitamins and lots of fiber, fruits and veggies. :) So I've started all over again, more or less, and want to give it a proper go without getting lazy a few months later. When I started losing weight last year, I had my roommate doing it with me, but things sorta went sour with her for reasons better left unsaid. But I miss having someone to share things with, go to for advice, and to cheer me on. And then I found this site! So here's to a happy and healthy future (for all of us).
Hello everyone August 12, 2009 at 8:36 pm

Competative streak help you at all? August 12, 2009 at 8:08 pm
So, it's that TOM...and I feel like an eating machine today. I'm not actually eating anything bad or going off plan. but DAMN DO I WANT TO!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost thought I should throw an extra snack or two in today, to tide me over till dinner, then I realized I would miss out on 2 points in the august challenge. hehe Does that sort of thing help you guys? I'm having the annoying salty/sweet cravings that accompany that TOM. So I'm having these 3 inch pie tins filled with a silken tofu/banana/pudding mousse type thing and boy is it good! and then I'm going to have some extra sharp cheddar. But...it's all within' plan! augh! What a PAIN. :P

you do so much to make people feel good. To acknowledge their accomplishments, to cheer them on when they feel down and discouraged, to give tough love when they need that. just thought you deserved your own thread; I think it's pretty great you do that. It always cheers me up to see your posts and kind words. so, if you have moments when you feel down, or are not valuing yourself as much as you should, :drill:  please keep this note in mind.
Hello all! Another newbie to 3FC :-) August 12, 2009 at 7:50 pm
Hi! I'm Amanda and I have just turned 24. I will be going on job interviews this spring and would like to lose the college weight that looks so lovely on me. I was about 140 when I graduated HS in 2003 and I am currently 180. My goal is about 150, but I'd love to get back to the pre-college weight. Possibly by Christmas? I had a friend give me their "Hip Hop Abs" DVDs, and I've tried them for a couple of days. I actually kind of like them, but I wondered if anyone else has tried them or any other Beachbody products? So far I'm also using a computer application that records my caloric intake and exercise called CalorieKing. Any comments on what the best app is? I know that basically I need to eat better, eat less, and move more. Any other ideas that may help? Thanks!
New To Calorie Counting August 12, 2009 at 7:28 pm
Hi! I'm new calorie counting... I've done Weight Watchers, South Beach and Atkins in the past... I was wondering if there were any tips or "must knows" to calorie counting. Thank you! ;)
Trying to get used to 'diet' foods... August 12, 2009 at 7:25 pm
I like all the Special K foods. Except one. I came to the conclusion this morning that the only way to eat a Special K waffle is to barely toast it… so it won’t turn to rock, then drown it w/ butter and syrup.. It still tasted like cardboard, but my puppy thought it was a great chew toy. I ended up making myself an omelet w/ cheese :P OOOOOPS THIS IS DEBBIE AKA THIS80SGIRL NOT MY DAUGHTER ALLISON. I WAS LOGGED INTO MY BLOG AND CAME HERE TO POST, NOT KNOWING SHE WAS STILL LOGGED IN, SORRY :)
I desparately need some help August 12, 2009 at 7:04 pm
I would quickly summarize my story :- I have mostly been normal weight all through my life. I am around 5'2" tall and 27 years old. Right now I am in my highest weight that is 130 pounds. I reached this weight somewhere in Feb this year, started diet and exercise with 110 pounds weight as my goal. I hit the plateau at 120 pounds and stayed there for two months. Therein I got frustrated and have given in on 'regular' healthy eating and exercise and now I am back again at 130 pounds!! So I started my weight loss journey again 2 weeks back. I generally eat healthy and exercise often, but then I am always thinking about food. I have fallen off the wagon multiple times in last 2 weeks and start binge eating. When I start binging I just go to extremes. This Monday I had around 15 peanut butter cookies!! Today also I have had several chocolates (I don't remember that count too) and cookies. I am now worried if I am facing some eating disorder or something. I really need to figure out why I have started binging since last 2 months. I was never like this before. Loosing 10 pounds now seems to be huge goal to me. Please help (sorry for all this rant).
Eat to Live vs. Eat for Health August 12, 2009 at 6:59 pm
I'm curious about both of these books. I haven't read either, and I'm looking to invest in just one. Has anyone personally read these? I would appreciate any feedback you have, and which you would consider a better resource. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your opinions. :D Kimberley
Losing weight too rapidly. August 12, 2009 at 6:23 pm
While I know it'sstill a bit early for me to be concerned about this, I figured I would ask anyway. I started my little weight loss journey this past Friday. On Thursday, I weighed myself and I was 172.5lbs. I figured I might have been retaining some water (that well...I just gained weight), so I decided to start to drink a lot more water and cut calories/exercise, etc. The next day (Friday), I weighed myself and I was 170lbs. I assumed the 2.5lbs I lost was due to water retention, as I drank a lot of water on Thursday and peed it all out. Well, it's now Wendsday, and I weighed myself today--164.5lbs. My question is am I really doubting the power of water weight or am I going a bit too extreme with counting calories and exercise? I take in about 1250 calories everyday (usually slightly less), drinking about 50-70oz of water a day, and I've been doing Tae Bo for 20 minutes for the past 4 days. I didn't think I was retaining THAT much water because it is not TOM for me, I don't have any problems with swelling, and I have low blood pressure. Thank you =)
Anone know about or do Chalean Extreme? August 12, 2009 at 5:58 pm
I am watching the infomercial and I just KNOW that I am too out of shape at this point to do this. But...My goal is that when I lose 50 lbs (hopefully by xmas!, jinglin' away the jiggle! ;) ) that I will get down to 220 and be able to start it. I plan to keep doing the exercises (cardio, strength training and yoga) that I am doing now and hoping to be in shape enough by 220 that I can give it a shot. There is a girl on spark who did it for 90 days and she looks absolutely AMAZING. She is my inspiration! There is a pic of her on her profile here: http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage.asp?id=WITCHYWOMAN77 if you care to check her out in her bikini! and here is the informercial for anyone who wants to see what I"m talking about : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knXfq87QnOo
Hello from St. Louis, MO August 12, 2009 at 5:43 pm
Hi! I just celebrated my 38th birthday and realize that I'm hanging onto my 30's by a thin strand. I took a quiz on Oparh.com and it said that 3fatChicks would be a good diet plan for me. I've tried tons of different programs and haven't stuck to any of them. I just ended a run with WW and took a month off from all dieting. I know I need to get back with some sort of program. I'm single and don't have a lot of time to cook, therefore I'm leaning towards a food delivery program. I've tried Nutrisystem and liked the food but feel that the lunches got old - either soups or meal bars. I like a good sandwich for lunch. If anyone can recommend a good program I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! Sandy
Why is this happening?!? (rant) August 12, 2009 at 4:33 pm
Okay, I apologize that this is a slightly long story, but I am so frustrated right now.... So, I have always been really healthy - in spite of my obesity. Never needed medications for anything. Until this spring, the last time I had been on any meds was 12 years ago when I had strep throat. But, since this spring, things have been very different... In April I got 2 Bartholin's cysts (warning - not for the squeamish) one of which required surgery under general anaesthetic. Then, I had a recurrence in July that required another surgery. I have started having what I think are gallbladder attacks seemingly randomly over the past 2 months. (which I am currently documenting in order to talk to my doctor.) This week, I got pink eye (I am a developmental psychologist and work with kids) in both eyes, and now, I have developed an abscess on my bum that will, thankfully, not require surgery - just another round of antibiotics (my 4th since April). I am starting to be really worried that something is messed up in my immune system. I mean, I never got sick -for years! Not even the sniffles in winter. Why now? This is my reward for eating healthy food and exercising? :stress: Sorry to whine. I just don't know how to make the doctors listen to me and stop seeing these things in isolation. Peace, Heather
Should we do a "phone tree" (email version?) for members who go missing? August 12, 2009 at 4:25 pm
I was thinking about how often one of us goes missing for months at a time (myself included) only to return having gained all the weight they lost back and then some. So it seems there is a way to get your private messages here sent to your email, under user cp: edit options: "The forum can send a message to your email address to inform you when someone sends you a private message." (check this box) Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages I was thinking that if I had had a 3fc member message me here, and it showed up in my private email, saying "where the hell are you get back on the wagon!" I would have returned long ago. If anyone is interested in an 'email tree' to get you to come back when we notice you have gone missing for a week or longer, I will make a new thread and you can post to it that you want to be on the email tree and maybe someone can sticky it? This place is a great help and the women here are a great inspiration and motivation, but when we fall off the wagon and stop coming around, there is no way for us to help each other. Anyone interested in this idea?
What is your favorite high fiber food? August 12, 2009 at 3:47 pm
I really need to increase the amount of fiber I eat. Does anyone have something that they really love that they can recommend? Oh, how much fiber do you eat a day?
Somehow desperate August 12, 2009 at 3:37 pm
HI, basically being on weight watchers, I have dropped my weight from 152 lb to currently 136. For 2 months now, I am working out at least 4 times a week, doing mostly weight training but cardio to. My arms and legs have get a good shape. But the ring around the belly stays (3.3 inces). I have to admit that my older figure was better off. Now with the arms and legs and thighs being in good shape, the ring around the belly just looks disgusting. I have decided to go on a low carb diet. Since cutting down the calories, doing points does not work. I could not crack the 132 ceiling. FOr 3 months now I am at the same weight. I have read that in order to loose significant belly fat, one must cut down the carbs. What are you experiences with cutting carbs, how much would the weight loss be on a strict 20g per day carb, 3-4 times a week work out. Currently I am at 136 at a height of 6.4 inces.

Weight Loss & Blood Pressure August 12, 2009 at 3:17 pm
I have only lost 12.5 lbs but I am already having super low bp's., like 100/69 with skipping a day of meds! I set an appt w/my Dr. on Friday but I am wondering, has anyone gotten off of bp meds from losing weight? When I lost my first 25 lbs 2 years ago I was able to get off of one of my meds, but never thought I'd get off both!
Calorie Count w/fastfood August 12, 2009 at 2:51 pm
Hey everyone, Is there anyone who has been successfully counting calories that mainly come from fastfood or store bought food. Because of my time/budget right now, its been easier for me to plan my food intake by looking at the online nutrition menus and counting that way. Ofcourse ive found that i have to stick to more of the "healthier" choices but i have been able to stick in my range of 1300 - 1500. I just wanted to know if anyone has successfully followed a calorie counting plan doing this. Thanks everyone for your input. :)
New--Cant Decide-Jenny or Nutrisystem??? August 12, 2009 at 2:51 pm
Hi Everyone! I've finally decided that I CAN get skinny again! I have 2 kids, am 23 years old and refuse to live the rest of my life being depressed about my weight. My only problems is that I can't decide between Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem...I need to lose 30 lbs to get where I am happy. I'm afraid of getting off Nutrisystem and not knowing what to buy or make for meals. On the other hand Jenny Craig is more expensive...I have a few friends who have lost a lot of weight on Jenny but have never met anyone who has lost weight on Nutrisystem. Any help would be greatly appreciated...I'm looking to start this weight loss journey ASAP and am just wasting days trying to figure out which one to go with! Thanks! Emmy
I'm pretty sure there's no hope for this carb lover. August 12, 2009 at 2:47 pm
Anyone know of a plan that is low carb (which seems to work for me when I stick to it), but doesn't restrict me from fruit?! I'm on day 3 of south beach, and failed miserably today when I had a bagel. *ouch* I was out and about, and have an aversion to eggs (which the only other things they offered was omelets)...and choose not to sit there gnawing on a piece of sausage (which Southbeach says no to that anyway, lol) Anyway, thanks for reading!
Starting over... again August 12, 2009 at 2:45 pm
It seems like everytime I make good progress with weight loss, something happens and I end up back where I started... or worse. A few summers ago, I joined 3FC and began working really hard. By the end of that year (2007), I had lost over 40 pounds and I was working out several days a week. The following spring, I ended up changing schools and lost my access to a free gym. Coupled with spending lots of time with my new boyfriend who loved nothing more than eating, I gained back a lot of what I lost. So then last summer I decided to trying WW and get back to walking. I started losing again, but I still had my food-loving boyfriend to contend with and only a treadmill and Total Gym at my disposal. It turned out that I was hardly ever home and didn't really get to work out at all, and I slipped off the WW wagon when I got a job waitressing at a Pizza Hut. Then it all went down hill from there. It's unbelievably hard to resist free pizza, and Pizza Hut is truly bad for you... even more so than regular Italian pizza. So now I weigh more than I ever have in my entire life and am just a few pounds shy of 300. Hardly any of my clothes fit and I usually wear sweatpants or my one pair of jeans that fit :( And now I am determined to get back on track! I intend to go down to Walmart today and pick up a notebook to begin recording what I eat and when I exercise. I'm going to drink lots of water and lay off the the Cherry Pepsi. Dealing with the constant temptation of Pizza Hut will be difficult, but at least they have a salad bar and hoagies.

| Hi 3FC community! I'm Juliana, and I've been reading the posts her for inspiration for a few months now! I've lost 30 pounds now but seem to be stuck at the ~180 mark, and I decided to actually join to try and motivate myself more. | Will we EVER see the light? August 12, 2009 at 2:08 pm |
I'm a little bit discouraged. I've been binge eating for ten years, in different "ways" (more or less food, more or less often). I've managed at least to control the effects, I mean that I've learnt not to panic and to be confident that if I get back on track everything will go alright. And my weight agrees with this, I've never been so thin. BUT it just depresses me SO MUCH that I still binge. One day a week, once in a month... it doesn't matter. Will I EVER win this battle? Will I ever be free from binge eating? I mean seriously, I need to know. I know that you are all encouraging, like "yes you can do this!" and thanks for that girls  But I need to know if SOMEONE of you really got rid of this disease. Because to me one month binge-free, or 6 months binge-free, is not enough. OF COURSE it's a great accomplishment and I would SIGN WITH MY BLOOD for that :^:, but I would like to know if out there there is someone who has been NOT ONLY binge-free for years... but also someone who doesn't think about food and calories and body all the time like me. Let's say someone who had an eating disease and not only the disease is won, but this person is living with a "normal" approach to food. Like a very young kid with no counsciuosness. Am I asking too much? Is it possible or should I be ready to face this thing all my life?
Free Maternity Clothes & size 20 clothes August 12, 2009 at 1:49 pm
If someone wants to pay the shipping I have some size 20 clothes I will give away. Some are very nice clothes, others are from Target and not too bad either. I was going to take them to Goodwill but would like to give them to someone else on the WL journey! I know it says no clothes sales so take this down if we aren't allowed to give them away either. My maternity clothes are confortable, mostly size XL which fit me when I was a 20. I was 224 then if that helps. Soon hopefully i can post up my size 16's! If I don't have clothes I think it will make me reconsider going off my diet LOL.
Because if I type it up I'll be able to actually do it August 12, 2009 at 1:43 pm
I made a salad for myself; the "recipe" comes from an improvised but yummy salad a friend and I came up with last week. I halved it because, well, there's only one of me! Well, now I can't finish it. Whereupon (I love that word...yes I'm a nerd) the following thoughts come: 1. I should finish it because there are starving children in Africa. 2. I should finish it because I've always been taught to finish my plate. 3. I should finish it because I've had no appetite for the past week and haven't eaten very much at all and really I should just eat something. 4. I'm full. I should throw the rest away. So I'm going to do 4. And when I read this thread later, I will know that I did 4. (If I say it often enough I'll actually do it too!) Ok back to your regularly scheduled programming :)

I'm home: includes surgery recov. and vacation August 12, 2009 at 1:14 pm
Hello my lovely chickies whom I missed SO FREAKING MUCH!!!!!! We got home from our lovely oceanside vacation last night (after another 12 hour drive bleh) and I'm happy to be home!!!! Gall bladder surgery recovery was honestly? A piece of cake. Days 1 and 2 post surgery sucked. Day three was feeling better. Day four was feeling pretty good. Day five we traveled 12 hours and that BIT but I took lots of pain meds and made it through. By day 8 I was feeling AWESOME and now, by day 15 I am feeling completely back to normal. Better than normal! TMI but my poops are FINALLY normal after NOT being normal for the past four months. Vacation was awesome. Hard to stay totally on plan being in someone elses house. Eating their cooking. I stayed within portion control but I totally ate stuff I would not have normally ate and just worked it into my calories. I'm feeling a bit stressed about getting back to NORMAL eating but I'm just going to go for it and see how it goes. I HAVE to stop the "just a bite" of everyone elses yummy stuff. I accounted for all of my "jab's" but it's a bad bad habit to get into and one that is NOT easy to stop. One day at a time right? The morning we left I was 250.6 lbs. This morning I was 241.2. I briefly saw 240.6 but we had roast beef sandwiches for lunch yesterday (deli=sodium) lots of prepackaged snacks (goldfish, 100 calorie packs) that were easier for travelling with. Again I didn't go over calories but it was WHAT I ate. So today is a 1400 calorie day. Goal=stay totally on plan, no jabs, LOTS AND LOTS of water :) I missed you guys and I am so glad to be back full time!
maintenance question August 12, 2009 at 1:09 pm
I am currently doing about 200 ab/core things a day. I am 5'2" and weight 250lbs. Last body% measurement (hydrostatic) put me about 50% fat. I carry the majority of my fat around my middle and on thighs. I understand the principle of - 'you can not spot reduce through exercise'. So, how many ab/core things should I be doing to keep what muscle is in there nice and toned while I wait for my fat loss to catch up to my muscles? Also, going on the principle of progressive overload, do I need to continue to challenge my core for me to keep what I have built or would doing the same thing maintain what I have without more being built? It maybe too soon in my journey to really make this switch - any thoughts on how to tell when to switch to a more maintenance resistance workout?

Any meal planning suggestions that might help me have some variety in what I'm eating on phase 1 and to still have snacks that are satisfying? Thanks :) |

Hello! New to 3FC. August 12, 2009 at 10:48 am
Hi! I'm Bekki, 27 from San Diego. I just started my new journey. In 2006 I gave birth to a beautiful boy. During pregnancy I gained 60lbs. I lost 30 of it a few months after he was born, but have gained all the weight back. DH and I want to have another baby, but I don't want to be this heavy and have a longer, harder journey to battle. So, I've made the decision that enough is enough...it's time to take control and be that hot wife my husband married. lol I am excited to be here and look forward to meeting you all. :trampo:

Ugh..sick. August 12, 2009 at 10:07 am
Hey folks, Do any of you find that when you start a new diet you get sick? It always seems to happen to me. I started this week with my great new resolve and a few days in I am home with a bad cold/flu. Uggh. I'm still trying to eat sensibly, but exercising is out of the question until my head stops pounding. Discouraging! I still hope my first weigh in on Friday will be positive, but I wish I could really get started on my life changes instead of lying in bed. Anyone else run into this? - Joanna
Question for the Photo Buffs August 12, 2009 at 10:01 am
So... I need a digital SLR. I was an art/ photography major in college but I've always been opposed to going digital for artistic purposes. I have a Canon SD600 for partying with my friends and social functions, but all of my serious equipment is analogue. I've toyed with getting a DSLR for a while, but every time I do I just go shoot an roll of infrared and develop it in my kitchen sink – stinky toxic chemicals apparently absolve me of the desire to own a DSLR. But… my BIL has asked me to do the photos at his wedding, so I need one. It's the perfect excuse to get one too, because I can convince myself I'm not spending the money on myself – its for someone else (crock of sh*t – but helpful in my mentally challenged ways of dealing with things.) I've been reading a number of reviews – and as I do with everything – I've read too many and now I don't trust anything. (Here comes the boring part…) I shoot Canon. Strictly Canon (sorry Nikon people :) ). What I really want is the 5D, but that $2500+ for just the body so that's not going to happen. I can get the 50D with a 28-135 f3.5-f5.6 kit lens (I have 18-55 and 75-300 EF mount lens already). Or I could go with the Xi series, spend $500 less on the camera and get a 50mm f1.4 to accompany the 28-135. The picture is only as good as the lens you take it through so the 50mm lens seems like a good idea. However – I've read a lot of reviews that state the 50mm stops auto focusing after 3-14 months. Plus, the 50 D fits in my hands. The Xi series, like the Nikon D80 series, is made for very petite hands and it doesn't fit into my hand like a camera should. I don't know what to do! Blah! Any ladies with very long size 7 fingers want to tell me what they shoot with? (The size 7 doesn't really matter – it's the long fingers – they don't like gripping tiny cameras…)
healthy snack ideas? August 12, 2009 at 9:59 am
Hi folks, I am guilty of always eating the SAME thing - and I'm sure that is what causes my diet boredom. I am looking for some snack ideas - can you help me out please? I tend to eat the same things: humus and carrots, fruit and plain yogurt. I try to get two food groups in each snack so my blood sugar doesn't jump too much. Thanks in advance! - Joanna
Review of Jilllian's MYM diet August 12, 2009 at 9:54 am
| So -- has anyone tried out the "Master Your Metabolism" eating plan? How did it work for you? (I'm assuming it's the same as the menus on her web program.) Also, has/is anyone trying out her new supplements? I saw a lot of outcry that she'd "sold out" to sell supplements but I am kind of curious about them. thanks, Barb | |
